A very simple principle that is writ large at MYTUTOR: Quality before quantity.
In fact, at our school all group courses are held with a maximum of 6 participants, and for well-considered reasons. For successful learning, the proportion of active practice parts plays an essential role. It is particularly important to repeatedly test and activate what is being learned, because only in this way can intensive new connections be created in our brain and the new knowledge be stored in the long term.
Passive existence in an overcrowded tutoring class where you never get a chance to speak will hardly have any impact on your learning progress. In our courses at MYTUTOR, on the other hand, we are committed to the maximum participation of each individual.
With a maximum of 6 other people in the course and teachers who specifically support the participants in the knowledge inquiry, learning succeeds with certainty. We try to integrate each student equally into the lessons and to respond to the different concerns. In our courses, we therefore place particular emphasis on ensuring that everyone is always actively involved in the classroom.
No dull monologues from demotivated teachers, boredom or annoying people asking questions for hours! In the small group you learn in a dynamic process and actively shape the lessons. The maximum group size of 6 people allows the teacher to respond to all questions accordingly.
Each individual thus represents a valuable member of the learning process, which in turn can be a motivating factor for the students. Many children and young people look forward to group lessons because they can exchange ideas with their peers and maintain social contacts.
